Providing bereavement support for children and young people

Covering Blyth and the surrounding area, Kate’s Place is a community group for children and young people who have a significant person in their life who has died or is dying.

We provide planned activities, games, stories and conversation during a 2-hour session on a monthly basis – Sunday 2-4pm. It’s completely free to attend once registered, and you can come when you like up to the age of 18.

Accompanying adults are required to stay on the premises during sessions, and are invited to join a separate room where there is an opportunity to meet with others who have a similar experience.

  • Sessions are at Blyth Children’s Centre – 103 Wright St, Blyth NE24 1HG
  • Refreshments are available to all, and are free.
